During my field experience I had to interview a student about a science misconception. The misconception I chose was that rain falls from holes in the clouds. This is how the discussion played out:
Me: "Where do you think rain comes from?"
A: "Up there"
Me: "What's up there?"
A: "God"
Me: "What do you think rain is made of?"
A: "Tears. They are his tears when he is crying"
Cute? Yep.
